It wasn't possible to be in the regular Impala Studio this day so we used premises that was under construction and put up the background in the middle of sacs of concrete and buckets of paint. And after the shoot a lot of cigarette butts on the floor.

We made the very first press images already in 2006 and in connection with the release of Jens' debut book Snabba Cash (Easy Money). The following shoot created images for the Stockholm Noir-books. The location this time – an old stable in the middle of Östermalm in Stockholm.

Görvälns slott

for Independent Hotel Group

A full day at wonderful Görvälns slott, a boutique hotel just outside Stockholm.

The mission was to create a bank of images for web, advertising and press. We wanted to create a different kind of hotel images, instead of empty perfect rooms we filled them with vivacious people. We created a story of some friends on a get-away together.

New York

A Sunday morning at 7 a.m. on Broadway and Broome St.

Shot in Efvas second home town, New York for Femina, the largest fashion magazine in Sweden. This particular shot above ended up being the cover. We spent three days shooting on the streets, in restaurants, everywhere we felt inspired.

A huge abandoned castle was the scene this day.

Shot in an abandoned castle one hour outside Stockholm. Since it was in the middle of the winter is was freezing inside as well. And when the sun went down it was kind of eerie. But Robin found a piano and sang the ghosts out of the building. A memorable day not just because of that, Robin also revealed he was going to propose to his girlfriend the following weekend on Iceland.

We asked Tove to put on her boots and wear them in bed. Such a forbidden thought to all of us. She did it unwillingly. And then loved it.

Silvana Imam for QX

Magazine

The rapper Silvana Imam in connection to the documentary about her.

Shot in the studio with dramatic Russian flowers in a pared down simple set-up. We went from an idea of shooting Silvana like the cultural royalty she is with a crown on the head, lots of fabrics and powerful attributes – which Silvana absolutely dissed, to this stripped down almost documentary scene. I am happy we did that.
